Temple guardian gatekeeper, Balinese statues.

It is a Balinese custom to have Hindu temples protected by these impressive temple guardians. They stand at the entrance to the temple and ensure that evil spirits cannot enter the sanctuary. The king of the temple guardians is Hanuman, the Monkey Warrior. These statues are made of solid cast stone. The statues are beautifully and solidly finished and can therefore remain outside in all weathers.
